Training: Somatic Coach Practicum
Prerequisite
This training is restricted to students with Hakomi experience. Students must have either completed Level 1 of Comprehensive or Professional Skills, or the Hakomi-Informed Somatic Coaching program.
Based on ICF Core Competencies and ICF Code of Ethics, this training, combined with the Hakomi-Informing Somatic Coaching training, will provide aspiring coaches with fundamental coaching knowledge, skills, and competencies to achieve ICF-certification as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC). Participants will understand the requirements of the ICF ACC Portfolio path in order to navigate the process with ease. Rooted in somatics and mindfulness, lead instructors Ketriellah Goldfeder and Sari Ajanko will also support participants in working on their identity as a coach and coaching mindset.
This training consists of eight live online modules* on Thursdays, 12:30pm-3:00pm ET / 9:30am-12:00pm PT:

*Reading and journal entries will be required for each module.
In this program, we will cover these competence areas:
cultivating trust and safety, embodying coaching mindset, establishing and maintaining agreements, maintaining presence, communicating effectively, evoking awareness, active listening, powerful questions, facilitating client’s growth, and demonstrating ethical practice.
In addition to ICF Code of Ethics, we will also cover Right Use of Power principles within the role and responsibility of a coach.
