Hakomi Teacher in Training, Indigenous Healer

Tara Shannon is a Two Spirit somatic counselor, bodyworker, and indigenous healer. Following indigenous worldview principles for over forty years, she engages somatic counseling and spiritual development, and plant based exploration in the indigenous ways to facilitate the healing of trauma and the integration of mind altering experiences. She holds integration groups and individual sessions for BIPOC and Two Spirit people.

Over fifty years on the red road, and much additional training in modalities like Hakomi Somatic Therapy and Internal Family Systems, has supported my own ongoing healing and my capacity to hold others experience in a good way.”
