Melissa Grace is the Founding Director and Lead Trainer for the Hakomi Institute Northeast, and Senior Trainer for Hakomi Institute of Colorado. She has designed and facilitated hundreds of Hakomi workshops and trainings since 1992.  
As a therapist, personal coach and professional development coach Melissa worked with thousands of clients over 35 years. This includes one-on-one work with executives across a variety of industries, and relational coaching between teammates, colleagues, and managing partners. 
 
Melissa has an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from University of Missouri and a B.A in Human Services from University of Oregon. Melissa trained as a coach and group facilitator with the National Training Laboratories, CTI, Conversant, Matrixworks, and Matrix Group Leadership Training. She taught Authentic Relating as a core faculty member with the Integral Institute and was adjunct faculty at Naropa University in the Somatic Psychology Graduate Program. 
 
Melissa lives and works in Boulder, CO, where she hikes, dances, and connects with family, community and lifelong friends. Melissa's spiritual practice centers around returning to presence, body, connection and honesty in all the different moments of life.
