SUMMARY:Free Webinar: See What Your Clients Are Showing You - A Live Hakomi Demonstration for Therapists with Rob Fisher\, MFT
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever sensed that something important was happening with a client—a shift in their voice\, a fleeting expression\, a sudden stillness—but weren’t quite sure what to do with it? \nSome of the most important moments in therapy happen beneath the words. \nIn this free 80-minute session\, you’ll watch a live demonstration of Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy and see how subtle\, present-moment signals can become doorways to deeper therapeutic work. \nAfter the demonstration\, we’ll slow things down and explore what happened: What did the therapist notice? Why follow one moment rather than another? How can a simple observation become an experiential intervention? \nYou’ll get a taste of practical Hakomi skills—including tracking\, contact\, mindfulness\, somatic awareness\, and Loving Presence—and see how they can help clients move from talking about themselves to discovering themselves in the moment. \nWhether you practice IFS\, attachment-based\, psychodynamic\, trauma-focused\, somatic\, or other approaches\, Hakomi can add another dimension to the work you already do. Come see what becomes possible when we listen not only to what our clients say\, but to everything they are showing us. \n \nFree • 80 minutes • Live demonstration\, commentary & discussion\n \nREGISTER HERE\nUnable to attend live? All registrants will receive access to the replay. \n  \nRob Fisher\, MA\, LMFT\nCertified Hakomi Therapist and Trainer \nRob is a Certified Hakomi Therapist and Trainer\, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 22886) and a consultant and certified supervisor in private practice. He has served as an adjunct professor at John F. Kennedy University as well as the California Institute for Integral Studies where he co-founded the Certificate Program in Mindfulness and Compassion. He is the founder of Mindfulness-Centered Couples Therapy\, which he teaches internationally. Rob is the author of a number of books\, chapters and articles including Experiential Psychotherapy With Couples\, a Guide for the Creative Pragmatist\, which details the use of mindfulness and the body in couples therapy. He has presented his work at the Psychotherapy Networker Conference and has been a master presenter at the annual conference of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. He and his wife\, Hu Ting Ting\, teach mindfulness and nature workshops internationally. He lives in an old farmhouse in the Green Mountains of Vermont where he composes music and writes fiction and poetry.

SUMMARY:Community Event: Tribe of the Heart with Rob Fisher
DESCRIPTION:Tribe of the Heart is An Idea for a Difficult Time\nThis event is designed to create a place for us to inspire each other towards greater lovingness\, kindness and compassion. We live in a difficult time. People and the planet are suffering in myriad ways\, and I would like for us to co-create an oasis\, a community of the heart. You know the magical feeling of being in a Hakomi training where you experience that there’s finally room for you to be more of who you really are\, to blossom a little bit\, and to extend your generosity to others? \nLet’s cultivate that and bring it to a larger community. Let’s do it together! Let’s see if it catches fire! \n\n\n \nStructure\nWe will do some internal and relational processes that will help nourish and explore our hearts. We can include times to share what inspires us to live more deeply from our organic selves: poetry\, music\, art\, dance\, stories of connecting with a clerk in Whole Foods\, successes in repairing a rupture with your partner or the heartbreak of failing to do so\, a poem that you read or wrote that touched something deep inside. \nWe can inspire each other. Maybe you can lead a movement piece or share a quote. Let’s create a place where we can support each other in gentle ways that inspire the best in each other. We can have times to sit in sacred silence together\, to use mindfulness to explore the barriers to our own heartfulness\, times for ritual\, times to have our pain held by a tribe of the heart. \nTogether\, we have a tremendous amount of talent\, leadership and heart\, that I believe we can use to create something wonderful for ourselves and others. \nWhat You Will Learn \n\nExplore what stops you from being more loving\nFeel less alone\nBring more kindness to the world\nAccess your heart more deeply\n\nWho Is This For\nThis event is open and relevant to Hakomi graduates and the general public.
